Koilasahar: Apr 06: This time the election of self-governing district council i.e. ADC has been completed without any hindrance. The people have voted in a festive mood in a peaceful situation. There are a total of 94 polling centers in the two seats. It has 42 seats for Machmara and 52 seats for Karamchara. The vote was held under tight security. For which there is no unpleasant news in Unkoti district.

Among the centers under Gournagar block, polling has been completed at Chinibagan School, Devvarma Para, Devasthal Anganwari Center, Muruibari and Hirachhara JB School voting has been completed. Similarly, Halaichhara JB School, Golakpur Secondary School, Jamtailbari JB School, Mylong and Singirbil belong to Chandipur block, voting has been completed in those centers.

Notable among them the smallest pooling station in Tripura is Halaichhara JB School, there are only 48 voters. By noon, 100 percent of the votes had been cast. Meanwhile, Sandeep Chakraborty, Sub-Divisional Magitrate of Kumarghat, Returning Officer of Machmara No. 2 and Karamchhara Constituency No. 4, said that the voting was completed without any hindrance. No untoward incident is reported anywhere.

The Machmara Center got 84.04% votes and the Karamchhara Center got 83.04% votes. Polling staff and security guards are returning from the polling station with EVMs.
