Agartala: Mar 27: Tripura BJP today released the poll manifesto, specially for the upcoming TTAADC poll with an eye to the tribal electorate. Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma along with BJP State party president Dr. Manik Saha, tribal MLA and Janajati Morcha leader Ramapada Jamatia, TTDC chairman Tinku Roy and others released the manifesto in the press conference.
Dev Varman said in the press conference said that in the district council areas, flag festoon and banner of CPIM rarely can be seen. The BJP also supports the THANSA(unity) as the unity stands for the progress.
According to him many BJP workers were killed by CPM. Dev Varman suggest them now it was not so easy. “we want CPM mukt ADC “ Dev Varman said.
In the manifesto the 27 point promises made by BJP include development work for ADC, remaning of the ADC, inclusion of KOKBOROK in 8th schedule of the constitution, launching of a martial art academy in ADC, making Khumlwng a full fledged and developed town and many more. He also said that attempts would be taken to promotejhum products as organic produces and emphasis would be lais upon a transparent recruitment rules and scientific transition of traditional healing process of the tribes.
