Agartala: Apr 07: Tripura Royal Scion and Chairman of TIPRA Motha party Pradyut Kishore Dev Varman has appealed to all political parties to ensure that no untoward incidents take place on the day of counting of votes in the Tripura tribal self-governing area. Pradyut also thanked all the voters in the ADC area for participating in the polls peacefully.
Meanwhile, on the day of polling, the chairman of Tipra Motha alleged that outsiders had come to the polling stations in several areas. Especially in the centers of Kathalia Mirza, Killa Bagma, Takarjala Jampuijala, Amtali Golaghati etc. temporary heated atmosphere was created. Voting has been severely disrupted.
Pradyut met the state election commissioner on Wednesday regarding this matter. He informed the Election Commissioner about the relevant issues through a letter. On the same day, Pradyut Kishore Devvarman demanded the Chief Election Commissioner of the state to take security measures to ensure that no hot atmosphere is created on April 10, the day of counting of votes. Pradyut said that he was completely optimistic about the TIPRA party team’s victory. In some places, there have been reports of trouble in polling station. In response, he said that the miscreants will not be able to stop 6 lakh voters in any way. Tripura people know who to vote for and they will vote and Pradyut is hopeful that they will win.
