Agartala: Apr 02: “Financing victims of natural disasters is not a violation of election rules. Many people can make a fuss about this. But it does not mean that the Chief Minister or the MLAs does not stands by the endangered people”, said CM Biplab Kumar Deb. The state government is on the side of the families affected by the natural calamity in Khowai district.
“I sympathize with those families. The state government has already taken steps, the chief secretary visited the spot”, said Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Dev said emergency compensation money would be sent to the victims’ accounts soon.
Speaking with the reporters, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Dev at his residence in Agartala said that various questions has raised as to whether various political parties are providing financial assistance to those affected by the natural calamity before the ADC elections, so he felt the need to help those affected by the natural storm financially.
He further told the media that all the political parties are campaigning well in the TT ADC elections but the BJP IPFT coalition government will come to power in the ADC. He further said that this time the BJP party will start from 175 in the West Bengal elections and the BJP will form the government in West Bengal with a single majority.
