Agartala: Mar 30: CPI(ML) protests in the city, protesting against the outsourcing, Agricultural law, Labour codes and the sale of state-owned enterprises.
CPI(ML) State Secretary Partha Karmakar led the procession starting from Paradise Chowmuni in the city.
He said the protest march was organized in the city in protest of the government’s decision of outsourcing, Agricultural law, Labour codes and sell state agencies.
The state government has announced a policy to kill the unemployed by outsourcing. The government will not be allowed to establish company rule in the country.
He further said “We have to support the resistance platform that the workers and farmers of the country have formed at the all-India level”.
He said the government was being asked to cancel the catastrophic policies and pay back the arrears of Rs 340 per day to the MNREGA workers and re-pay the allowances to those whose names had been removed from the social allowance.
He also called on the Left to win the upcoming TTAADC elections by defeating the fascist government.
