Agartala: Apr 03: The epidemic of coronavirus is taking new forms in different states of the country including the small northeastern state Tripura. Keeping this in view, the District Magistrate warned the people of the state, but there is no public outcry among the people. People seem to have forgotten that wearing a mask,that was one of the tools to fight the epidemic during the Corona epidemic in the state.
Since the new corona infection has started in the state, the administration has had to step in to explain the importance of using this tool anew. Such a picture was seen in Radhanagar area of the capital. The state administration launched an anti-mask campaign to make people aware of wearing masks.
Speaking to the media on the same day, an administrative official said that those who do not wear masks are being fined Rs 200 and those who carry masks in their pockets but not using them, he warned them and fined them Rs 100. The state administration will continue such operations in the coming days to keep the state and the people of the state healthy and strong, the campaign team said.
